Straight Blades

Like Angle Blades, these blades can be mounted on Wheel Loaders, Motor Graders and Loader Backhoes but are most common on Motor Graders. The front-mounted straight blades provide a versatile dozing option for motor graders equipped with a front lift group.

Utility and municipal applications for straight blades include: light dozing, back filling and spreading gravel or fill material. A heavy-duty version of the straight blade is most often used in mining or logging road construction.
