Sales and Marketing Representative

We are currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Representative based in our Edmonton office located at 7622 18th Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6P 1Y6. reporting to the Director of International Sales and Market Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business development, sales and marketing on strategic initiative to maximize International sales to meet or exceed target revenue projections
- Management of agents, distributors and dealers in selected target area
- Customer support – pre and post sale activities
- Oversee further Website development / enhancement
- Oversee and further develop enhanced sales / promotional materials – product documentation, presentations, brochures, advertising
- Pricing and estimating / quote preparation, based on product gross margin analysis
- Research and interpret competitive product offerings and provide analysis
- Sales product training – customers and staff
- Telemarketing
- Organize / maintain customer contact data
- Attend / assist with organization of trade shows
- Other duties as assigned
- Travel expectation 25 - 50% – as required
Required skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and or graphics software
- Strong listening, verbal and writing skills – English / Spanish with ability to communicate clearly with discretion, tact and courtesy
- 3 - 5 years experience in sales, marketing, heavy equipment and mining / forest industry
- Work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask and or reprioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Education:
- Post secondary – business studies, marketing, graphic arts, communications or related fields
Compensation and Benefits:
- Remuneration dependent upon experience and qualifications
