Parts, Sales & Warranty Administrator

Reports To: Production Manager
Location: Edmonton, AB


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze Warranty reports using an Access Data Base
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and staff as needed
  • Document all product returns and warranty transaction / claim activity
  • Provide quotes in a timely manner on parts and related transactions


Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3+ years related industry experience working in the heavy machine / attachment business
  • Diploma/Certificate in parts technician/warehousing or equivalent
  • Customer focused attitude specifically with safety, quality, meeting customers' requirements, cost effectiveness and fast response
  • Strong knowledge of parts pricing & lost sales reports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill, particularly when interfacing with customers
  • Strong computer skills including working with Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Access
  • Experienced with international shipments and related paperwork
  • Financial background in processing claims

Receiver

Department: Inventory Control
Location: Surrey, BC


Position Summary:
Reporting to the Corporate Inventory Manager, this position is responsible for receipt of shipments and recording same in an ERP system. The Receiver will count and visually inspect receipts for compliance with Purchase Orders and record shipments into inventory as well as marking / identification of materials. Additional responsibilities may include operation of overhead cranes and forklift. Working with suppliers and customers as well as internal departments is required.

Skills & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a manufacturing background. Past experience in Receiving / Inventory Control in the heavy equipment, aircraft or automotive industry and a sound understanding of workplace safety, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components is required. The following are also required : an understanding of ERP systems as they relate to inventory control, storage systems, quality principles, continuous improvement with respect to processes and procedures and excellent English communication skills. Must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.
